Tuco is a Dendrobates leucomelas. They are non-toxic in captivity and can live for about ten years.
We recently hatched a mantid ootheca (egg case) and had a couple hundred first-instar nymphs. I didn't want that many, so I let them eat each other and now just have two. One of them I am keeping for my nephew, Daniel. They are now fourth-instar nymphs. I won't know what species they are until they are full grown, but they are likely an introduced Asian species.
This picture shows how big they are now.
Well, your froggies will live for ten years if you don't starve them to death.
